    jogehrs This predates TCP/IP by about 650 RFCs and half a decade, so I’m not 100% sure :) My understanding is it’s the physical endpoints, so probably analogous to network interfaces of today

      jogehrs After some more reading, “link” seems to be a synonym for “connection”, but I’m still not sure.
